What is a Certification Body?
We license the delivery of Cyber Essentials (basic and PLUS) assessments and IASME Cyber Assurance assessments as well as other IASME certifications, to a number of highly professional companies. These companies are known as Certification Bodies. Each assessor within those Certification Bodies must go through training and pass the relevant assessments and exams. The Certification Bodies are available to offer consulting services to help you achieve your certification.
Do I need a Certification Body?
Some of the self-assessment questions can be difficult to understand if you do not have a technical IT background or you have a complex company structure. IASME has trained a number of qualified cyber security companies who will be able to help you understand the assessment questions, how they relate to your company and what steps you need to take in order to achieve certification. These Certification Bodies are trained and licensed to certify against the Government’s Cyber Essentials Scheme and they are also available to offer consulting services to help you achieve these certifications.
