IASME is the new Delivery Partner for the NCSC’s Cyber Incident Response Level 2 Scheme

Nov 28, 2023 | Cyber Incident Response, News and Events

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has recently announced that IASME is to be their second Delivery Partner for the Cyber Incident Response Level 2 scheme.

Cyber Incident Response providers help organisations that have been a victim of a cyber attack. As a delivery partner, IASME can assure your organisation against the NCSC’s Cyber Incident Response (CIR) Level 2 standard and enable you to become an NCSC Assured Service Provider for CIR Level 2 services. Customers looking for help responding to cyber incidents can be confident that Assured Service Providers offer a high-quality Cyber Incident Response service.

The NCSC assures Cyber Incident Response companies at two levels:

CIR Level 2 Assured Services Providers have been assessed as being capable of responding to the types of cyber attack likely to be faced by the majority of UK organisations.

CIR Level 1 Assured Service Providers have been assured to the same standard as Level 2 Providers, and further assessed as capable of providing incident response services to organisations which are likely to face targeted cyber attacks by nation state backed actors.

See the NCSC website for more information on the CIR Scheme.

Fairness and inclusion are important values for IASME and we feel strongly about ensuring that smaller cyber security companies and those working hard to address issues of under-representation in the cyber security workforce are able to apply to become Assured Service Providers.

Whatever your size, if you are a UK-based provider of Cyber Incident Response services, we welcome your enquiries and application.

You can find the NCSC’s CIR Level 2 Technical Standard on the NCSC website. Further details about the process, including ongoing costs and timeframes, can be found on our website.

When you are ready to start the process, please contact our customer services team [email protected]. If you have any questions, please give us a call on 0330 088 2752.
