Whistleblower Policy

IASME is committed to conducting our business with honesty and integrity.

To encourage the reporting of suspected wrongdoing, IASME operates a Whistleblowing Procedure so that any party can report their concerns to IASME in the knowledge that the issue will be taken seriously and that confidentiality will be respected.

  • Areas where whistleblowing may be considered include, but are not restricted to:
Criminal or fraudulent activity in relation to any of the certification schemes operated by IASME
  • Bribery of, or threats towards, assessors or Certification Bodies and relating to any of the certification schemes operated by IASME
  • Bribery of, or threats towards,  Advisors or Assured Service Providers and relating to any of the certification schemes operated by IASME.
  • Unauthorised disclosure of confidential information relating to any of the schemes operated by IASME

How to raise your concern:

The claims must be in relation to one or more of the schemes operated by IASME.  Whilst we do not condone inappropriate wrongdoing outside of the IASME schemes, we can only take direct action in relation to the schemes we deliver.

Whilstleblowing claims may be made by any party including Cyber Essentials Assessors or their employers, Cyber Essentials Advisors or their employers, or employees within certified companies.

Whist IASME acknowledges that those informing of inappropriate activities may wish to remain anonymous, anonymity does make the allegation more challenging to investigate. Confidentiality will be respected at all times.

All suspected wrongdoing should be reported as soon as possible to [email protected]
