The Counter Fraud Fundamentals (CFF) scheme certifies companies against the controls detailed in the CFF requirements document. These controls have been developed by a team of counter fraud experts and cover the basic counter fraud controls for organisations of all sizes. They include oversight and control, protection and detection, response and recovery and the data management and analytics of businesses.
HOW IS THE ASSESSEMENT CARRIED OUT?
The assessment to gain certification is a verified self-assessment. This consists of a set of questions which are answered via a secure assessment platform. A board member of the organisation signs a declaration to verify that all answers are true, and a trained counter fraud expert then marks the assessment. The assessments cost £400 plus VAT.
