Senior Technical Support Officer

SALARY:  £25,000 - £38,000

LOCATION:  Malvern

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day technical issues identified by users of IASME’s internal IT systems and cloud services
  • Identify major issues with systems and raise to the Technical Operations Manager, and provide support to the Technical Operations Manager to resolve these issues
  • To provide support on Cyber Essentials assessment queries
  • Maintain and update Internal IT documentation
  • Ongoing maintenance and monitoring of internal IT systems and cloud services
  • Setup and configuration of End User Devices to a set standard
  • To assist the Technical Operations Manager and CTO where required
  • Undertake any other duties as from time to time may be required by the Company.

COMPETENCES REQUIRED:

  • Detailed knowledge of macOS, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Office365 and Microsoft Exchange administration
  • Knowledge of managing user file systems and permissions
  • Experience of supporting others with Technology issues
  • Knowledge of Spam filtering
  • Knowledge of Remote Monitoring and Remote Access tools
  • Basic Cyber Security Knowledge
  • TCP/IP networking skills including Wireless management
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work under own initiative
  • A willingness to learn and develop in the role
  • Able to effectively time manage and meet deadlines
  • 3 years experience in IT\Network Support environment
  • Any IT certifications would desirable
  • Knowledge of Cyber Essentials desirable
  • AWS, Azure, Citrix experience would be desirable
