Find an ASSURE Cyber Professional

IASME is an accreditation organisation for CAA ASSURE. By working with the CAA, we can accredit Cyber Suppliers and their Cyber Professionals to deliver the high level ASSURE scheme.

If you are an aviation organisation and the CAA has requested that you undertake an ASSURE Cyber Audit, IASME can put you in touch with an accredited supplier.

Implementation Requirements

All ASSURE Cyber Professionals must adhere to the requirements defined for the scheme. The Implementation Guide sets out clearly what the ASSURE auditors are expected to do and how they are expected to do it.

ASSURE Cyber Audit Process

The ASSURE Cyber Audit is one of six steps that make up the Cyber Security Oversight Process for Aviation.

Aviation organisations complete the relevant sections of a cyber self-assessment known as the  Cyber Assessment Framework for Aviation (CAF for Aviation). This is then independently validated by an audit provided by an accredited ASSURE Cyber Supplier.

The audit is evidence-based, through observing processes in practice, sampling, conducting interviews and reviewing policies and other relevant documentation provided by the aviation organisation. Upon completion of the audit, a report is issued to the aviation organisation and a debrief call with the CAA is held.
